Brief
The client gave us a requirement for the redesign for an existing stock market learning platform to make it more appealing to college going students.
My Role
I was working with 1 more person, discussing and designing everything together, taking different perspectives into picture.
What is the app? What are some improvements we can make?
It was a heavy app with lots of actions and flows and it was important for us to understand what could be done from our side. Here are some highlights that I suggested.

Too many tab navigations inside learn which are overlapping. Could be merged for easier navigation.
Alphabetical sorting and sector wise distinguishing could be done within the same page
Could differentiate visually between modules and courses.
Certificates and courses could be combined into one flow.
Overhaul the design system and Information Architecture to make it less overwhelming and more clear to navigate within the app.
Make the information and data throughout the app more visual for college students such as stock details and more.
Make layout changes to make it easier to find actions such as adding stock, viewing holdings and more.

What do the users look like? What would they want?
After conducting interviews, we combined them into 2 types of personas.

How to make the navigation easy?
From our audit, it was clear that the application had to be structured well as it was a complicated application with lots of features. This needed to be guided well to the users and segregated well.
